We may be having a change to our advertised venue for the August Bank Holiday weekend. It seems that campsites that are viable for the climbing venues are fiercely battled for and its not looking like we’ll be able to get anywhere with the numbers we are likely to want to attend.
So a couple of options…
1. We head for the Kielder area and aim to make it more of a walking meet than a climbing meet.
2. We decide on another climbing venue entirely.
The only caveat is that I am not 100% guaranteed to be able to attend the meet so ideally if we look at another venue I’m also going to be hunting out for a meet leader to go with it!
Nothing taxing other than scoping a campsite out and getting it booked and then getting it advertised nearer the time.
Idea’s below would be appreciated so if there’s somewhere you fancy hitting this year that not already on the programme then comment below!
