Is anyone taking one and if yes, mountain or road?

I’d like to dependant on final travel plans. Think road bike may limit you to major roads whereas mountain bike would allow access to remote places.

I only do road bike but think I’ll bring mine – warm gloves and overshoes too!!!

If the past week is anything to go by, you might be better off bringing a boat; or perhaps sled and dog team.

See you soon. We’re having a great time! Colin and Pam

I will be taking a road bike and looking for company on the Bealach Na Ba loop. 70km, 1550M, cafe stop in Applecross and probably lots of other stops to admire the view (especially on the slight climb….).

Also planning to take full winter cycling gear….

Gill and I are taking mountain bikes. Mine has road tyres on at present but will also take MB tyres so should cover all options.

More to the point – do we need ice axes and crampons !?
