The 2020 Rucksack Club have printed a Charity Calendar with ALL PROCEEDS (£10 each) going to the BMC Access & Conservation Trust (Charity no. 1089516) to promote sustainable access to cliffs, mountains and open countryside by facilitating education and conservation projects across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Check out the great work they do, including the recent Mend Our Mountains campaign, at http://www.thebmc.co.uk/bmc-access-conservation-trust.

The calendar features 50 shots of local mountaineers engaged in the many activities of the Rucksack Club – mountaineering, climbing and hill-walking of course, but also in action on skis, snowboards and mountain bikes; wild swimming, via-ferrataing, ultra-running, ice-climbing and deep-water soloing. It would be a fitting addition to your kitchen wall at home, as well as a great stocking filler.

There are lots of ways to get hold of one (or more!):

    – They’re on sale at reception at Awesome Walls Stockport and Sheffield plus Manchester Climbing Centre and other walls soon to be announced

    – You can buy online at Climb-Europe (and I’d like to offer a big thank you to them as they’re doing this with zero mark-up and charging postage at cost – check out the rest of their site too!) http://www.climb-europe.com/rockclimbingshop/rucksack-club-2020-calendar.html

A sneak preview of the front and back covers is available at: https://rucksackclub.org/2019/11/20/rucksack-club-2020-calendar/

    Happy shopping
