An exploratory stream scramble mini-adventure

Meet at Birchen Clough Bridge on the Snake Pass at 7:30, walk down through the plantation, scramble up Urchin Clough to Fairbrook Naze, walk south then east along the edge a bit and scramble down one of the cloughs there, and a drink at the Snake Inn

You may get wet – come prepared!

Liz and I will be there, but we won’t even try to keep up with you! So we’ll do our own thing in the same vicinity and join you at the pub at the end.
Talking of which, the Snake Inn sometimes closes early, in which case I would suggest the Bulls Head in Old Glossop as an Alternative that’s on the way home.

We’ll be there. Richard was similarly worried about the pub situation and had another pub in mind ? I wont say where in case in causes confusion!!!!!
