In spite of occasional appearances, the club isn’t a self functioning entity. Lots of people do all sorts of things to help us all to get out climbing, whether it be organising the meets programme, leading meets, booking huts, looking after Blaen Y Nant, letting everyone know whats happening (journal, Facebook, website…..), sharing photos, organising ad hoc climbing and many other things that make the club tick.
Some spend considerable amounts of their time helping the club, others just a bit of time now and again, all are highly valued. Some are on the committee, many are not.
The committee currently has eight members and typically some stand down each year, usually around the AGM when elections to the committee happen. This year the AGM is on Sunday 2nd December. If you are interested in helping out the club, either on the committee or in a less formal way, we would love to hear from you. You don’t need to be a long term member, fresh ideas are great. If you have a specific skill set then that’s wonderful but enthusiasm is the main requirement.
