    The walk will be over Longstone Moor. Meet outside the Moon in Stoney Middleton, GR232 754. There is a small carpark in Stoney, otherwise park on the road. It’s about 8 miles. If we’re back too soon to go to the Grouse, the cafe at the garden centre on the Calver crossroads was quite nice last time I went in.

    This talk which was scheduled for the Grouse after the walk has been cancelled at short notice by the speaker who is now struggling to get there. Given the late notice on the cancellation (5 mins ago!) I’m not going to be able to line anyone else up in time.
    Sorry!
    You could still head to the Grouse after for some nosh if you wanted to.

    Probably better to tell the Grouse not to expect us?
    For info – we’ve got the projector and screen at the moment.
