Enjoy!
Andy HardyModeratorThat should of course be 16th October!
Andy HardyModeratorHi Jean
Count me in, I’m a carnivore
Cheers
AndyAndy HardyModeratorHi Jean
I’ll post this onto the facebook page
AndyAndy HardyModeratorTom B. has stepped forward to run this meet 🙂
Andy HardyModeratorAnd a swift google gets a map! http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=286212&Y=315202&A=Y&Z=120
Andy HardyModeratorForgot to add the instructions for locating the hut!
(Copied and pasted from UKC)
Dinas Mawddwy is on the A470 close to Dolgellau. Leave the A470 and go through the village past the Red Lion Pub. Continue down the hill and park on the common land just before a bridge. Cross the bridge and turn left towards the campsite then immediately right on to a footpath. Follow the footpath up the hill to a track and turn right along the track. Bryn Golau is in the top corner of a field to the right of the track.Andy HardyModeratorIt looks like people are voting with their feet to go to B-y-N this weekend.
Andy HardyModeratorThe one I meant is on the left as you head north (towards Hathersage) take your point though Colin – they all do seem a bit posh for climbers!
If I make it out tonight I won’t be pubbing anyhow – got to be in Crewe for 7.30 am tomorrowAndy HardyModeratorI’ve added the meets up to the end of August. I now require some inspiration for September – bearing in mind the nights are closing in.
If nothing better turns up I’ll put the Roaches for the 6th, but I’m running out of ideas!Andy HardyModeratorI have edited the meet page to show ‘arriving’ and ‘leaving’ dates to match Rachael’s spreadsheet. Any errors let me know
Andy HardyModeratorHi Gary
I hope you don’t mind but I think I’ll share this on the Mynydd facebook group.
Cheers
AndyAndy HardyModeratorYes gutted not to be going to Skye. Can’t make Tuesday either 🙁
Andy HardyModeratorSee you on Sunday! (I’m only doing the easiest day, downhill* all the way to Tynemouth)
*On average
Andy HardyModeratorIs Wharncliffe further from Mellor than Cratcliffe?
Anyhow the sun wont set until 21:18, it’s not far from a main road (and you don’t work anyway!) -
