Annual Dinner 2023
Timings for tomorrow:
Bar is open from 12noon.
We are able to take drinks to the Gwynedd Lounge at any time. I would suggest meeting there from 6.30pm.

We must be seated for dinner between 7.15 and 7.30pm.

There is no seating plan. Please collect a slip from me at the drinks which you can then put on the table where you decide to sit so that the staff will know what you’ve ordered and will have an idea of what to bring where!

Afterwards we are in the Dinorwig room and the bar will open in there at 9pm.

Please complete the google form for your menu choices and to book your place at the Dinner by the 5th November.

The Gwynedd Menu is priced at £40, if you order exclusively from the separate vegetarian/vegan menu the price is £35.

Butternut squash soup, herb oil
Salmon gravlax, guacamole, sour cream, sourdough toast
Duck and orange pate, toasted bloomer, onion chutney

Roast pork loin, caramelised onion, apple sauce

All of the above served with creamy chive potatoes and seasonal vegetables

The Tshirts have arrived. I will be bringing them to the AGM tomorrow, so please do come and collect yours if you can. Other arrangements can be made for collection of them, just get in touch with me.

I will be putting the order in on Monday – orders need to be in by 9pm this Sunday (13th November).
It remains our preference that you sign up to GoCardless when you place your order, but for anyone who doesn’t wish to sign up to GoCardless at this time, a bank transfer of £10.60 to the usual account will be fine. Please let me know if you are going to do that though, so that I can keep track.

Call the hotel’s reservations team on 01539 734000 to book, quoting Mynydd Climbing Club for the special rates. The rooms will be held for us until 12th October, so if you want to stay at the hotel, please book before then.

2 nights (Friday 25th/Saturday 26th or Saturday 26th/Sunday 27th) bed and breakfast:

& BREAKFAST
£218 per Double/Twin for double occupancy for 2 nights
£198 per Double/Twin for single occupancy for 2 nights
£238 per Garden View or King Room for double occupancy for 2 nights

1 NIGHT STAY – SATURDAY 26TH NOVEMBER 2022 – BED & BREAKFAST

Additional nights are also available at a discounted rate (Thursday and/or Sunday).

Dogs:
You can reserve a king room and bring your dog – you will be allocated to the rear of the property and it is accessible via a separate entrance. Dogs must be supervised in the room at all times when you’re in the room, and put into your vehicle when you’re not in the room. Dogs are not permitted through the hotel or public areas.

Alternatively, David has kindly made enquiries with the Kendal Hostel who have availability. Mention you’re with the Mynydd and put down a £25 deposit to book. (Please see his post for all the details).

Seating Plan:
Please do keep letting me know who you’d like to sit with when you complete the main form. This is motoring along so well I may not need to create a separate document to trouble you all with nearer the time.

I need to confirm everything well in advance with the hotel, you must complete the form with your menu choices and send payment by the 22nd October.
