Here’s something a little different. I received an unusual email from the BBC today, which I am passing on here should anyone feel they would like to be a/ scared and b/ on TV.
My name is Jess and I’m contacting you from the BBC in Bristol about a new series I am working on as I thought it might be of interest. I have attached our flyer and I was hoping you could share it with your members or anyone that you know that might be interested, either by newsletter and/or social media? To give you a little more detail:
Our new BBC TV programme is looking for people who would like to discover more about the science behind fear at a two day workshop. The event will be held at a stunning country house in the South West of England, with scientists helping you learn more about the nature of fear and the science behind what makes us afraid. Filming will be taking place in December so please contact us ASAP to register your interest. If anyone would like to find out more they are welcome to call 0117 974 2238 or email casting@bbc.com
