No, this doesn’t refer to any members, but actual hatchets, and possibly also to sharp knives.
Some folk have found either or both to be missing. What has happened is that they have been hidden from mischievous hands, then not been put back.
If you are staying at the hut, and the hatchets, and/or knives are missing, you will probably find them on the top shelf of the food storage shelves in the kitchen. That’s where they usually are
