This is our annual “turn up and tie on” day. The idea is to introduce our club to people who might be interested in joining; who we are and what we do. For those who haven’t climbed outside but who can belay and climb indoors it’s a chance to have a go “in the wild” (or in this case, Derbyshire). The day is not about formal instruction, as we are not a training organisation, and we are not insured to instruct, it’s a chance to meet us and have a go on real rock.
Posters are up in Stockport, Manchester, Sheffield and Glossop and its trending big time on social media.
It would be great of lots of existing members could a/ tell anyone who may be interested and b/come along for at least part of the day show potential new members how nice we are and how easy or hard and fun climbing can be.
See you there
Jules
Date: Sunday 23rd April
Location: Stanage – High Neb Buttress, park at Denis Knoll
Time: from 10:00 but we’ll be there all day (unless it’s tipping down).
