The Mynydd Annual Fell Race (organised by last years’ winner Heather Hardy) and Sue’s Winter Walk are on Sunday 1st November. Meet at lay-by on Long Hill Road just out of Whaley Bridge (SK009798). Walkers will leave at 10 and runners at 10.30. Both will be in staggered (or staggering) groups of six.
The winner of the Fell Race will announced on this very site sometime after the end of the race. It will be established via a complex handicap system made up by the Hardy household once they get home and have a drink.
Everyone who attends Sue’s Winter Walk is a winner obviously.
The event is limited to 30 people. Please let us know, in advance if you are attending. People who rock up on the day might find they are disappointed if we are over the 30 limit.
