On Thursday night it’s the Windgather meet. This tradition was started by Nat Allen, and has endured for very many years, in all sorts of weather!
The format is as always, we meet at Windgather Rocks at about 7o’clock, when Vic and I light a brazier to warm yourself by, and we enjoy mince pies, mulled wine, a bit of craic, and a bracing climb (hopefully top rope provided!).
Afterwards, we go to a pub, the chosen one being the Goyt Inn at Whaley Bridge.
I hope you can make it on Thursday, it’s a great tradition, and great fun
See you there!
Dave
