We’ve had a rejig on dates for this meet to now encompass the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend, and also to make the most of the tides for sea cliff climbing. According to the Climbers’ Club website, they will be between 1.13pm BST on Saturday 12th and 5.31pm BST on Easter Sunday – pretty good!
In terms of the climbing, we all know what it’s about – quite simply, the best quality limestone that the country has to offer. Yes there are plenty of three star E points to chase after, but there’s plenty for those operating at more amenable grades. The Range West briefing is on Good Friday, giving the bank holiday weekend to explore some of the more esoteric crags that Pembroke has to offer.
If you’re interested in attending the meet then please join the WhatsApp group or contact me directly (email on the members list of send me a PM). Unfortunately Pembroke isn’t blessed with accommodation options that tick every box (i.e. would you rather be near the climbing or have warm showers?) so having some input from likely attendees would be appreciated: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TgDQsWEqrBTj20ESHFJz6AU6Q_XRSXKeXZD3TQDg55Y/edit?usp=sharing
