Staffordshire Fire and Rescue have advised people to stay away from the Roaches over the bank holiday weekend – probably worthwhile steering clear on Wednesday – “oh no, I can’t lose all my skin in a horrible crack” I hear you say! Happy to take consensus on an alternative and I will update the post title and meets calendar etc.
The roads have re-opened and access is now open to Roaches upper and lower tier. Looks like its still closed to Skyline and beyond towards Roach end and the moorland over the back of the Roaches. Hen Cloud open.
Dont see any reason not to continue with the meet at Ramshaw tomorrow evening, Ramshaw has been unaffected by the fire related closures.
