Hello all,

The Royal Vic will only hold rooms for us at the reduced rate until next Friday 25th August, so if you’re planning on coming to the Dinner and want to stay at the Royal Vic please don’t forget to book accommodation by then. The reference number to quote is in the Journal.

The Google Form with menu choices is almost ready to go, and the link will be shared for that in the next ENewsletter. I’ll update here with the link too once the ENewsletter has gone out.

The Gwynedd Menu is priced at £40, if you order exclusively from the separate vegetarian/vegan menu the price is £35.

Gwynedd Menu

Butternut squash soup, herb oil
Salmon gravlax, guacamole, sour cream, sourdough toast
Duck and orange pate, toasted bloomer, onion chutney

Feather blade of beef
Roast pork loin, caramelised onion, apple sauce
Steamed haddock, white wine sauce, crispy kale

All of the above served with creamy chive potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Raspberry & white chocolate cheesecake, mixed fruit coulis
Lemon meringue, raspberry compote
Selection of Welsh cheeses, oat cakes and chutney

Roast tomato and basil herb soup, crouton
Dovetail of melon, raspberry compote and raspberry gel

Once you’ve completed the form please send £40 (or £35 for the vegetarian/vegan menu) to the Club Account.

Annual Dinner 2023
Timings for tomorrow:
Bar is open from 12noon.
We are able to take drinks to the Gwynedd Lounge at any time. I would suggest meeting there from 6.30pm.

We must be seated for dinner between 7.15 and 7.30pm.

There is no seating plan. Please collect a slip from me at the drinks which you can then put on the table where you decide to sit so that the staff will know what you’ve ordered and will have an idea of what to bring where!

Afterwards we are in the Dinorwig room and the bar will open in there at 9pm.
