Friday 8th-Sunday 10th November its our annual bonfire and logging meet at Blaen Y Nant. Hope to see you there.
For those who haven’t been before, the format is as follows:
Saturday day time: teams chop wood to fill the wood shed whilst others build the bonfire. We are having a large firewood wood delivery ahead of the meet and there will be a fair amount of heavy lifting to do this year so we are looking for volunteers to help with that.
Saturday evening: a communal meal (veggie and meat option), followed by the lighting of the bonfire and a firework display. In addition to the hut fees there is a modest charge to cover the meal and fireworks. Volunteers to help prepare the meal will also be most welcome.
Sunday: climb, walk, chill, whatever floats your boat. A bit of help with clearing up in the morning before you head out is always welcome.
If you are coming, please let us know and whether you want a meat or veggie meal. Either respond in the comments section of this message or contact Liz Wilson or Steph Meakin.
