Just for info, a very nice email from Walter T Bird, a member who now lives in California.
Hello Jules and Andy,
Many thanks for sending the Mynydd Journal and for my membership card. In spite of it being many long years since I was an active member, it really means a lot to hear how well the club is doing. In this issue was the sad news of Ian Stuart’s passing. A man that inspired youngsters like Howard Stevenson and me. Howard (Steve) and I grew up in the Council houses in Wythenshawe. We were not as well educated as Ian and his good friend Brian Royle, but we never felt like we were discriminated against in any way.
