Logging Meet November 12th-13th
Hello everyone, calling all pyromaniacs and mad axemen (and women!) The famed and eagerly anticipated logging meet is nearly upon us!
As usual we have a large stack of wood to saw, chop and stack, and, additionally we will have a further 12 tons to transport. We do actually rely on this wood for heating.
Your honest toil will be rewarded by a hearty meal followed by an impressive inferno, and fireworks, so no need to bring your own.
So just bring yourselves, your kids and some booze. If you want to be fed on Saturday night, it is essential to let Liz know, either by responding to this post, or email to dave.liz.wilson@homecall.co.uk
Let us know if you are a veggie.
There will be a modest charge to cover the cost of the food and the fireworks.
The meet can be fairly busy, so some people may opt for a tent.
