It’s that time of year again, when we can look forward to (as well as other good things!) the logging and bonfire meet at Blaen y Nant
The format is the usual – a vigorous day chopping the odd ton or three of wood, followed by a beer and wine in front of the lounge fire, and a hearty communal meal.
Then the bonfire and fireworks display. The club provides the fireworks, so you don’t need to bring your own.
There will be a modest charge for the meal and fireworks – between £10 and £12, dependent on the numbers. Half price for kids. Please bring cash!
It’s a great occasion – everyone is welcome including kids. Please let us know if you are coming, and say if you are a veggie.
This year we are having a new delivery of wood, which as usual needs a fair bit of handling, so the more able bodied participants, the merrier!
