Mild excitement at the Logging meet last weekend
Callout: 12 Nov – Llyn Crafnant.
A 73 year old member of a local walking club became unwell in steep woodland while looking for another group member who had strayed off.
Members of nearby Mynydd Mountaineering Club and local nurse, Bronwyn, helped the man and called the team out.
Local team members went straight to the casualty and a team landrover with stretcher headed from base.
Too poorly to walk with help, the casualty was placed in a Blizzard Protection Systems blanket and onto our stretcher with Cascade Rescue Company wheel, then taken back up through the woodland to the forest track. After further care he was taken back home by friends and advised to seek further medical help.
Diolch yn fawr to Bronwyn, Mynydd club members and his friends for all your help.
