Fancy some climbing cinema….
We would like to invite you and your club to attend the Reel Rock Tour event being held at the Grand Pavilion, Matlock Bath, on Friday 10 October. It is a fantastic venue and it really will be a great social night out for your members!
Reel Rock is an annual film Tour and this year’s programme features the highly anticipated feature-length film Valley Uprising from Emmy award-winning adventure filmmakers. Valley Uprising examines 60 years of epic rivalry, adventure and rebellion that has been played out in California’s Yosemite National Park. It tells the story of the bold men and women that broke with convention and redefined the limits of human possibility in the legendary valley. Decades of climbing history is vividly brought to life on the big screen through digitally animated-archival photography, spectacular movie footage from today and the past as well as interviews with climbing legends.

The films are due to start at 7:30, with doors and the bar opening one hour before, the venue has a great bar within the auditorium run by the volunteers! There will also be a chance to win a selection of great prizes during the interval as well!
