on 8th November I will be participating in the Wicklow Moonlight Challenge in the Wicklow mountains of Ireland as part of a four-man team, to raise awareness and funding in aid of Stroke Association ( a registered charity in England & Wales no211015)as well as raising funding for local mountain rescue, the walk (or run for some) is 27km long and takes place overnight under a possible full moon if all goes well.The rest of my team are fully able-bodied but for me this will be a milestone and major test of my recovery (possibly even a’ go for it’ challenge?). HoweverI have a serious commitment to raising as much sponsorship as possible from this event to help those less fortunate than myself.
