Sue's Winter Walks – Sunday Nov 4th

Dear all

Not only is it the start of Winter Walks; its also the start of Social Sundays. All I have to do is ….. plan a walk as normal and make sure everyone can get the the relevant pub by 18.00/18.30. What could possibly go wrong?

With the pressure already telling, I thought I’d start with a walk close (ish) to the Social Sunday venue. We meet at parking close to Barber Booth (108847) at 10 for 10.30 start. We’re going up Grindsbrook Clough and down Jacob’s Ladder – about 7 miles. Afterwards, I plan to go straight to The Norfolk Arms, Marple Bridge for post-walk drinks and pre-talk dinner.
