From Tom’s parents. They also ask that I let them know asap a rough idea of numbers so if you could let me know via email or FB messenger as soon as possible if you think you’re going to attend (I can deal with possibles if you tell me that) that would be great.
Dear All,
We are finally able to confirm that we will hold a memorial event for
Tom on 17 September 2021, starting at 14.00.The event will be held at Bamford Institute (Main Road, Bamford S33
0DY). The Institute is about 15 minutes walk from Bamford Station. It
has a small car park but there is more parking at the Anglers Rest,
which is just on the other side of the road. We expect to have about 45
minutes of more formal proceedings and then some light refreshments and
a chance to meet, finishing around 17.00. The Institute is a
well-ventilated space that can easily accommodate the sort of numbers we
expect to come.We very much look forward to seeing you there, if you would like to come
and you are able to do so. It would help for catering if you could let
us know whether you plan to attend. We do understand that notice is
short and that travel is still not easy so that some who would like to
be with us will not be able to make it.Please pass on this invitation to anyone else who might like to come.
