    Afternoon all,

Currently the comms team are working on a nice shiny new policy document to explain what we are doing with social media and how it affects you.

In the meantime, and to help over the summer when we all split up (you get the Alps, I get Rugby), if anybody has sometime fun or interesting stories/news that they think would be a good message to spread about the club then let me know.

We don’t use Twitter for new information, just to tell other climbers/outdoors folk positive things about being a member of our little club.

So if you are off on a massive challenge, want to update us on your GFI, found a nice teashop or friendly campsite let us know.

Without stories or pictures I just tweet about meet dates and Monty (who is very smug at present having done is GFI).

If I dont see you before month end, have a great summer.

    Steven.

PS. some of you nice folk that actually follow us on twitter have said you find it difficult to see our posts, so from now on we will include the hashtag #mynyddcc so you can search at leisure. 🙂

Alex had a great day out with Rowan and Kathryn on Sat, and has some great pics of Rowan absolutely loving it. Might be a nice tweet – ‘new member Rowan enjoying one of her first leads on Tryfan…’ Etc. if she’s happy to be featured.
