Last month we were in the Himalaya, for the last lecture in the winter series we come VERY much closer to home.

Moors for the Future

Anyone who has walked over Kinder or the local moors in the last few years cannot miss the huge changes brought about by the work of the Moors for the Future Partnership. The EU funding to protect our local moors has been extended for a further five years and Sarah Proctor from Moors for the Future will talk to us about what has been achieved, what is planned for the coming years and how local people can be involved in the work of Moors For The Future.
