Working Meet 15th-17th April

Hi everyone, it’s working meet time again!! Our new hut warden team, Ian and Jean Read are currently on holiday, so they have asked me to do a posting to promote the working meet.

As always, there are plenty of jobs to suit all tastes and abilities, so let’s have a really good turn-out to support Ian and Jean on their first working meet.

It is the usual format – a days work on the Saturday, and an optional free day on Sunday, and a free(!!) communal meal on the Saturday night.

For anyone who hasn’t been to a working meet before, these are fun events -a days honest toil with some good mates, and a hearty meal and few jars ( BYO !! ) to follow. To be commended, especially to those who may have recently enjoyed the hut!!

We have a new member, Graham, coming along to meet a few of us. He does not have a car and on the sunday evening he would love a lift to Stockport or Macclesfield stations.
