Liz and I will probably be at the car park, but will go up Mam Tor by the South East ridge. We may see you headtorches!
I suggest we meet afterwards at the Cheshire Cheese, at the far end of Castleton. You can park on the road opposite
DaveLiz and I will be there, but we won’t even try to keep up with you! So we’ll do our own thing in the same vicinity and join you at the pub at the end.
Talking of which, the Snake Inn sometimes closes early, in which case I would suggest the Bulls Head in Old Glossop as an Alternative that’s on the way home.
DaveLiz and I will be registering a vote against the no confidence motion. Although I think the committee have been high handed, i am persuaded by the argument that we shouldn’t throw the baby out with the bath water.
DaveHi Abi, no problem in principle about your dad joining – we’ll be very pleased to have him!
Things are a bit fluid at present regarding numbers (about 13 so far) and how we will fit into apartments or villas or whatever, but we will do our best to accommodate him, and we will be in touch by emailIf any one else is interested now is the time to say, as I anticipate we will make a choice of accommodation and grouping fairly soon.
DaveWE now have about 60 coming, so if you want somewhere to sleep, I would definitely recommend a tent! ( tin or fabric!)
