Mike TempestParticipant
There are a few places left on the second boat for the trip to Pabbay from Barra – in the first instance these will be available to existing Mynydd members (but we do have interest from non-members). If you are interested it would be helpful if you could let me know by 13th December (contact details above). It is likely that summer timetables for the Oban to Barra ferry will be published before Christmas and we would be looking to book vehicles sooner rather than later especially as the return journey coincides with a bank holiday weekend.
All things being well I will be asking those already on the list for the second boat to transfer £160 to the treasurer in the normal way (details in October journal which is in members area on website). I will contact you directly to let you know payment is required.
Mike TempestParticipant2 places have become available in the bunkhouse (those on the reserve list have been contacted already and have made alternative arrangements). If interested please contact me.
Mike TempestParticipantThe remaining campervan pitches and tent pitches are filling up quickly at the Laxdale holiday park. The last campervan pitch on site has now gone but they have an overflow site about 100m away for more campervans. If you ‘re definitely planning to come I wouldn’t delay in booking to avoid disappointment. A few of us have already booked our ferry tickets with https://www.calmac.co.uk/ to reserve our preferred crossing times. Once registered you can make amendments if required.
Mike TempestParticipantAll places in bunkhouse now filled.
Mike TempestParticipantOnly one place left now.
Mike TempestParticipantJust to clarify this is 28th May to 4th June staying at Laxdale Holiday park https://www.laxdaleholidaypark.com/
Their website has more detail about accommodation and pricesYou can also indicate interest in attending on the Mynydd Climbing Club facebook page

Mike TempestParticipantHi – Booked arriving Fri 28th May leaving on Sat 5th June
MikeMike TempestParticipantHi Richard, Not sure if the best pitches are next to lake but look out for a garish luminous yellow green tent somewhere in the vicinity!
Mike TempestParticipantHi All
Even though I’m not on FB as far as I know (Dave K has let me know and a few have emailed me) myself, Steve W, Tom B, Rowan, Jack, Maria, Richard? are walking in on Friday (possibly Alex & Beckie?). Tim D emailed and is camping at site opposite Wasdale Head Hotel with Catherine E and Chris M – hopefully see them on Scafell on Sat or Sun. Colin is camping in valley (Seathwaite?) before walking in Saturday. Cant wait!
Mike TempestParticipantHi Jules. I should be free (possibly both days). Let me know if you’re still need someone to climb with.
Cheers
