  • Is this the correct forum to announce that my triple bypass heart surgery went very well this week, and they’ve managed to pin my leg that I broke tripping down the hospital steps on my way out… And that I should be just about fit for my inaugural fell race ‘run’ in a few weeks, all being well.

    🙂

Three of us spent some time by the culvert and couldn’t find it, although I have seen photographic evidence of its existence!

Sorry Simon, didn’t notice the reply until today.

If you click on Meets, you will see the Weekend meets – there is the fancy widgit you can scroll through the months, and there is a link to download a PDF list of meets.

I’ll add UKClimbing links to upcoming meets,

    Cheers,
    Catherine

Yes I couldn’t do it and I built the bloomin’ thing. Will look into it if it disturbs you 😉

Thanks for all the lovely feedback. I know there is the odd hitch here and there, but I’m working on it. The main issue is possibly with the new Meets list and those using older browsers (internet explorer that hasn’t been update for a while). I have a feeling that the only solution for that is to upgrade your browser, (or I find a different solution for the meets list, but I do rather like it).

in reply to: Logging out #387

Good point! Hover over your name in the top corner, and you will see an option to log out.

There were replies from the following expressing interest in attending:

    Maria Goggin
    Phil Cunningham
    Steve Waters

in reply to: Alpine Guidebooks #298

Replies to original thread on old site:

Steph – has Via Ferrata guide
Maria – I’ve ordered Plaisir West and we already have Extrem and another small guide for Salbit but nothing on anything more alpine (these are all rock routes guides). If anyone has anything on alpine options I’d be interested in borrowing in advance (obviously scanning /copying isn’t allowed so I wouldn’t do that while I had them!), and happy to let nice people do same with books we’ve already got.
Seth – asked which maps were best for area, as not clear.
Penny – has Reynolds book and a walking guide from Rother which also includes some via ferrata
