Ahead of doing this, please complete the first climb form below to provide your contact details and to confirm that you can belay safely. <\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSegOELChvK63acSG9cVjieoqrbgk-5O6bgkWq_txp1ZX8B0Sw\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">First Climb Form<\/a><\/b><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"padding: 10px; border: 2px solid #0077b3; margin: 10px;\">\n<h4><strong>Types of Membership:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The membership period is 1<sup>st<\/sup> January to 31<sup>st<\/sup> December.  <br>The club has 3 types of members \u2013 <b>Aspirant<\/b>, <b>Full<\/b> and <b>Honorary<\/b> <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"padding: 10px; border: 2px solid #0077b3; margin: 10px;\">\n<p><strong>Aspirant Member:<\/strong> After coming out with us informally a few times new members first join as an \u201cAspirant\u201d. This allows you to join the club at a reduced rate <em>for the first year only<\/em>. The idea is that you attend a few (or a lot of) meets and get to know other club members before becoming a full member. <\/p>\n<p>Standard Aspirant Membership rates are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul><li>\u00a336.50 if joining before 1st July<\/li><li>\u00a324 if joining between 1st July and 1st October<\/li><li>\u00a354 if joining after 31st September with membership valid until end of the <em>following<\/em> year<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>Discounted Aspirant Membership rates (unemployed, furloughed or full time student) are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul><li>\u00a331.50 if joining before 1st July<\/li><li>\u00a318 if joining between 1st July and 1st October<\/li><li>\u00a347.50 if joining after 31st September with membership valid until end of the <em>following<\/em> year<\/li><\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:left\"><b><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdhk2BS_fd0fy2R6uqrvyUifaZu8uEhoERUgovDFOLHTFeIOw\/viewform?usp=header\">New (Aspirant) Member Application Form.<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>If you would like further details please email the Membership Secretary\nat: <b><a href=\"mailto:members@mynydd.org.uk\">members.mynydd@gmail.com<\/a><\/b>.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"padding: 10px; border: 2px solid #0077b3; margin: 10px;\">\n<p><strong>Full Member: <\/strong> If you decide you like us after a year as an aspirant, please then renew as a Full member using the email from members.mynydd@gmail.com containing a link to your personalised (i.e. pre-filled) renewal form.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not receive an email please let Alex know at members.mynydd@gmail.com. As a last resort (e.g. if your email is broken) use the generic form below.<\/p>\n<p>In order to comply with GDPR regulations, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">all existing full members (<\/span><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">including honorary members<\/span><\/em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">) should <\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">also<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> complete the renewal form by the end December of each year<\/span>. Note that overdue subscriptions invalidate the individual\u2019s BMC insurance cover until paid. If you don\u2019t want to renew, please just let the membership secretary know.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"padding: 10px; border: 2px solid #0077b3; margin: 10px;\">\n<p><strong>Whichever level of membership you have, you will benefit from:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul><li>Use of the Club Hut in Snowdonia at the discounted members rate<\/li><li>Regular full colour journals three times a year to get you excited about upcoming meets\/ let you know what other members of the club have been getting up to on previous meets and other climbing-related adventures<\/li><li>Concessionary priced entry to <b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.awesomewalls.co.uk\/\">Awesome Walls<\/a><\/b> climbing centres<\/li><li>\u00a310m civic liability insurance from the BMC, and discounts in over 600 outdoor retailers and organisations affiliated with the BMC<\/li><li>An amazing community of like-minded people keen to share in your adventures<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"padding: 10px; border: 2px solid #0077b3; margin: 10px;\">\n<h4><strong>Payment Options:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul><li><strong>Direct Debit<\/strong> This is required for all new members and strongly recommended for all renewals. You don\u2019t need to do anything now, but will receive an email from the club inviting you to set up a GoCardless account linked to the Mynydd. The payment will be a one-off, not recurring. The club will not see or hold your bank details. <\/li><\/ul>\n<ul><li><strong>Internet \/<\/strong> <strong>Electronic\nbank transfer<\/strong> to the Club\u2019s bank<ul><li>Sort Code: 01-05-51&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;  Account Number: 40582787 <\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>\n<p>For bank transfers there is no need to put your name in the\nreference as we see that anyway. Just put the reason for the payment (e.g. 2020 Renewal).
