There will be a healthy gathering at tomorrow evening’s meet (New Mills Torrs) especially with those destined shortly for Lundy.
Working out whether or not you can remember how to tie a prussik will be followed by some adventurous ascents. The adjacent E2 will probably involve less effort! In the Pub later will be discussions of whose is longest (Abseil rope) and whether wrapping ropes around one’s torso and stuffing pockets with Krabs is wise preparation for a Helicopter ride.
Its probably just as well there’s no show this year as the scriptwriter(s) would end up with more material than they know what to do with.
There is rumours that the Beehive will let us eat our Fish & Chips at their tables (well the benches outside probably). But they might have something on cask from Torrside Brewery.
