Details of the Borrowdale meet this weekend re posted below as they have fallen a long way down the forum.

The campsite would like an update on the numbers I estimated back in February, so if you are going could you let me know in whatever way works for you (thanks for those who posted in Trish’s thread). The site are particularly keen to know about arrivals 9pm or later Friday, or Saturday arrivals.
Their normal overflow field is in use for lambing, hence their interest to know numbers so they can accommodate us.

Early May Bank Holiday 29th April-2nd May, Borrowdale
The May Day bank holiday meet will be a return to the beautiful Chapel House Farm campsite in Borrowdale. £6 per person per night, fabric or tin tents. Showers 50p.
The owners are expecting our group and space should not be an issue, certainly for Friday arrivals. They would like some idea of how many will be arriving late (9pm or later) on the Friday so they can be sure to accommodate us so please let me know if that’s you.

Borrowdale offers many low level cragging and walking options in the unlikely event that conditions on the high crags and fells will be less than perfect. There is a nearby pub serving food and fine weather is, of course, pre-booked.
