Separate chainsawing and splitting areas will be identified, with an exclusion zone or 2m around the chainsaw operators
Maximum of two chainsaws operating at once
Maximum of three splitters operating at once
Sawing and splitting operations to be separated by a minimum of 4 metres
Maximum of two helpers in the sawing area to load wood into sawing jigs and to remove sawn rounds
To collect rounds from a chainsaw operator:
The wood collector must catch the chain saw operators attention from a safe distance (2m away) and must not approach until the chainsaw operator has acknowledged he can approach.

Splitters must be vigilant for persons passing close by
