People who have been associated with the Mynydd for many years will be sad to learn that Dave died earlier this week. He was not only a very talented rock climber, but he also enjoyed a string of climbs in Scottish Winter and the Alps.
Dave was always interested and enthusiastic about the club and was made an Honorary Member decades ago. He leaves those who knew him with many great memories.
Our thoughts are with his wife Joan and daughters Sarah, Lizzy and Katie.

Colin. Very sad news. It’s many years sinc Ive seen Dave and didn’t know him well but I remember him as a very likeable person and very capable climber. My thoughts with Joan and family at this sad time. Derek

Members and friends who wish to attend Dave’s funeral will be welcome at Macclesfield Crematoriam on Friday 3rd February at 2:45pm.
