Ian Stuart
We have to announce that Ian Stuart has sadly passed away. His funeral will be on Friday Feb 25th February at Brimmington Crematorium, Chesterfield at 10.30 a.m.
Ian has been a Mynydd member from the inception of the club – very nearly a founder member. His long climbing career has slowed down in his latter tears, but he has maintained his association with the club, and attended his last annual Dinner at the Royal Vic as recently as 2019, where he received an award for loyalty.
A full obituary will be published in the next issue of the journal.
Our thoughts are with Rosemary and the rest of his family.
