This an update on our Turn Up and Tie On (aka Open Day) event at Stanage this coming Sunday.

Unfortunately the weather is looking decidedly unhelpful – damp, windy and cold is not ideal for Stanage Edge ! Nonetheless the meet details as posted on FB will stand; I will be there from approx 10am. At 11am or sooner we will then take a view as to whether it is worth going up to High Neb. not, there are 2 options;

Plan B – if its too cold but dry-ish, go to Lawrencefield quarry, which is at least sheltered from the wind, parking at Surprise View, just up the hill the other side of Hathersage (GR 232801).

Plan C – if its too wet, go to Awesome Walls in Sheffield approx 45 mins away
