Meet 10am at the Fairholmes Carpark, Howden Reservoir Grid Ref SK 173 893.
I think there may be a charge for the car park although it’s free for NT members apparently. Hopefully if the road’s not flooded or there are sufficient 4WD cars to share we can drive up to Kings Tree Head where parking is free.
To reach Fairholmes, turn off the A57 Snake Pass road at Ladybower Reservoir, following the National Trust signs.
