This year the annual dinner will be held at the Mount Hotel, Scarborough. The price is £60 for dinner, bed, breakfast and the disco, all of which needs to be paid to the hotel.
To book your accommodation contact the Mount and pay a £20 deposit; you will pay the balance when you check out. I have booked 40 rooms which are a mix of double, family, twin and single. Please note there are only three family rooms. The price for children in a family room is £7.50 (plus £10 if you need a 4th bed). The price for children needing bed and breakfast but not in family rooms will be £35 per child.
Please note the rooms are only reserved until 31st October. You may still be able to book after this date but availability is not guaranteed.
This coastal venue will be fun in December and is close to some fabulous walking and mountain biking. And you never know, if we have a very long Indian summer, you could do some sea cliff climbing, sailing or swimming.
As usual, you can expect amazing food, riveting speeches and hilarious awards – there might even be a show. I’ve booked a Xmas disco with all your favourite cheesy dance tunes from across the decades – what’s not to like!
