For anyone else interested in attending the Gower meet who isn’t already on my list, please let me know if you’re planning on coming.
Also, Liz and Dave wanted to pass on the below message:
“Saturday May 4th.
Please come for nibbles and drinks around our Campervan at 6 o’clock Saturday evening.
If the weather is kind we will eat outside at about 7 in the field (own food!) remember to bring tables and chairs.
We will serve Birthday cake for pudding.
Then…. if it’s a nice evening we’ll go for a walk on the beach!”
See you next week!
Abi

April 24, 2023 at 7:56 pm in reply to: Northumberland – Early May Bank Holiday – 28 April-1 May #5973Abi LucasModeratorHello!
I’ve just had chat with the lovely owners of Demesne farm campsite who have advised that there’s “room for a few stragglers” at their site this weekend in Northumberland if anyone else is keen for a last minute trip. Please just give them a call and they’ll tell you the rest.
Plenty of scope for good climbing, walking, biking, boozing (https://www.firstandlastbrewery.co.uk/) and tourist opportunities – fun for all energy levels whatever the weather (as long as you’ve packed your thermals)! 😄
See you there,
Abi
March 1, 2023 at 5:36 pm in reply to: Northumberland – Early May Bank Holiday – 28 April-1 May #5936Abi LucasModeratorHello again,
A little birdie told me that there is still a lot of interest in this meet which is fabulous news – but if that’s you, you will need to get in there quickly! The Mynydd alone have already booked out half of the available pitches on the campsite.
If you want to join us, please complete the campsite booking form found here: https://www.demesnefarmcampsite.co.uk/campsite and get your deposit paid ASAP. I recommend putting [Your name] (Mynydd) in the form so they know you’re with the club.
Please also drop me a note to say that you’ve booked. I can send you a link to the WhatsApp group for the meet if you want it.
Cheers,
Abi
February 8, 2023 at 7:02 pm in reply to: Northumberland – Early May Bank Holiday – 28 April-1 May #5921Abi LucasModeratorHello lovely Mynydd folk🙂
Wonderfully, there is already a healthy contingent of keen beans signed and paid up for this meet.
If you want to be guaranteed a spot too, please transfer either £36 (if you’re paying for a couple) or £24 (if you’re paying for yourself only) into the club coffers by this Sunday 12th Feb, and let me and treasurer.mynydd@gmail.com know when you’ve done it. We will be putting down a 50% deposit with the campsite next week.
Club bank details are still:
Sort Code: 01-05-51
Account Number: 40582787Please also let me know if you’re coming with car & tent or with campervan (+/- hook-up), and number of dogs if applicable.
Any questions, drop me an email/ text please.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Abi LucasModeratorThank you Andy for getting the webpage set up!
If you are intending to go on the meet, please email me (details on the members’ area). Include names, numbers in your party, likely dates at the campsite, and whether you might be able to offer lifts. I’ll then get this uploaded onto a spreadsheet which is also in the members’ area (Summer Meet page) so we can get organised.
Thank you, and looking forward to seeing lots of you soon 🙂

Abi LucasModeratorGood evening all,
A further email has been sent this evening with details of how to book your place for the Annual Dinner, and the information has been duplicated on the Members’ Area here: https://mynydd.org.uk/annual-dinner-2021/
It appears that we may need to look at alternative email distribution services given emails are not consistently being received by all members. Any important information will be made available on the Members’ Area.
